Since 1994 AzizA arrange the annual ORIENTAL DANCE FESTIVAL Denmark – in co-operation with some wonderful girls. Without their invaluable help this would not be possible. The festival was created to extend the knowledge about oriental dance – and to create a forum where dancers could meet in a friendly atmospere.

At the beginning it was only a small crowd. They were women whom I had met at workshops and then invited to the show. Gradually the festival became known among Danish belly dancers, and the last few years around 250-300 active dancers  from all corners of Denmark have performed and the audience has counted 800-1000. The last few years foreign dancers – and foreign press – has shown their interest in the Festival, which is now the largest of this kind in Denmark. The festival takes place every year at the beginning of march in Kolding, Denmark. Beside the show there also is bazar.

Furthermore a second event, Take Two and Oriental Galla is arranged every year around the first of october. This event features workshops with internationally recognized guest stars and a galla show with the guest stars and some of the best danish dancers.

Time: The bazar opens at 11.00. The show starts at 12.30 and goes till 16.30
